Improved collaboration

Creating e-learning courses is a team effort. That’s why, at Easygenerator, we’re always working to improve our tool to make it as easy as possible for you to collaborate with other course authors and reviewers. This month, we made two big improvements for our course authors:

• When reviewing a course, authors and co-authors can now leave comments at every content level. (Stay tuned as this feature will soon become available for reviewers as well.)
• Authors who are part of a Group can now choose if they want to share their course with the admins of one group, multiple groups, or no groups at all.

Course templates in Spanish

At Easygenerator, we want to make it as easy as possible to create engaging e-learning. Our library of 50+ course templates helps authors kick-start the content creation process. Authors could previously download course templates in English, German, Dutch, and French. This month, a selection of course templates are now available in Spanish too.

Russian now available in the editor

With Easygenerator users all around the world, all speaking different languages, we’ve made it even easier to design your courses no matter what language you speak. Now, authors can navigate through the editor interface in Russian. To update the interface language, log into your Easygenerator account and head to your Settings menu.

Additional technical improvements

This month, our team also worked on a variety of technical upgrades within our tool to improve your e-learning content creation experience:

• PowerPoint Converter: When you create an e-learning course from an existing PowerPoint presentation, highlighted text and existing sections in your PowerPoint presentations are now seamlessly converted into highlighted text and course sections.
• Automated translation: If you leave the page before the automated translation process is finished, you can now see if your translation is still in process and get a notification once it has been completed.
• SSO: Authors can now give learners access to a course’s SSO link without having to manually update it. If you’re an existing author interested in this feature, get in touch with our support team to request its activation.
