SCORM packages in Resources

You asked, we delivered. Easygenerator authors have always had multiple options to publish their e-learning courses: exporting content as an HTML package, sharing via private link, or downloading a SCORM or xAPI package. These options were previously more limited when creating microlearning Resources. Now, authors have the option to download their Resources (How-to and Checklist) in a SCORM package to be published on their LMS.

PowerPoint importer upgrades

At Easygenerator, we are always looking for ways to make the content creation process even more seamless. With our PowerPoint importer tool, Easygenerator authors can convert their existing PowerPoint presentations into interactive e-learning courses. Previously, slides were exclusively converted into editable content. This presented some limitations for image-heavy presentations. That’s why PowerPoint slides can now be converted into screenshots and added to your new e-learning course sections.

Additional improvements

This month, our team also worked on a variety of technical upgrades within our tool to improve your e-learning content creation experience:

• Video: When you upload a video to your e-learning course, our authoring tool will be able to automatically detect if subtitles are embedded in your original video. Authors will then have the option to select which subtitles to display, if any.
• Data management: Organizations Admins are already able to download a CSV file of their authors. Now, this file also includes the Group(s) each author belongs to.
