What’s new?

Improvements to the Groups feature to make it even easier to manage team members; alternative text and hotspot localized for XLIFF; Kinyarwanda was added as a new language to the all-in-one template; contrast option for learners to make Easygenerator even more accessible.    

Group feature improvements

Last month, we launched our newest feature for our Enterprise customers, Groups, to allow admins of the organization to place other members into subsets with varying permissions and access to specific courses. This month, we’ve added a few new features to improve your experience with Groups. Now, organization and group admins will be able to filter course lists depending on groups. By selecting a specific group, admins will see only courses that were created within the group. Need to delete a group? That’s also now possible with the new improvements.  

Alternative text and hotspot localized for XLIFF

For our enterprise customers, we’ve made sure that all elements of your courses can be translated. XLIFF files will now contain the parameters to allow hotspot and alternative text to be both exported for translation and uploaded back into Easygenerator in the correct places with the proper translations. Within the “Configure” step, you will need to enable “Map HTML elements” when using Trados or MemoQ, and disable it for Localise. 

New language: Kinyarwanda

Easygenerator is gaining even more popularity with authors and learners around the world. We’ve heard requests for even more languages, which is why we added Kinyarwanda to our interface. Now you have more options to tailor courses for your learners, no matter where they are or what language they speak. 

WCAG improvements

Color contrast has a significant impact on how your learners approach online learning content. That’s why we’ve closely examined the color contrast of the course design and added the “Contrast Theme” option in the user menu. It is more accessible and maximizes the content legibility, while still ensuring your learners enjoy the beautiful design of Easygenerator courses.
